Crop
To select only a portion of a photo to be printed you need to crop the photo. Every photo has a crop rectangle which you can resize and relocate as desired. The crop rectangle is initially set to be as large as possible for the selected photo and print size.
To resize the crop rectangle, simply use the mouse to select and then drag one of the edges or corners of the crop rectangle. The cursor changes to a resize cursor when you are in the resize zone at the edges of the crop rectangle. During the crop rectangle resize, a grid of thirds and the current print size is displayed.
Note that the crop rectangle will retain the aspect ratio which matches the print size you have selected. If the shape of the crop rectangle isn't what you want, simply select the size in the size menu which corresponds to the shape you do want.
To move the crop rectangle, simply move the mouse into the center of the crop rectangle and then click and drag to move the rectangle. The cursor becomes a hand when you are in the move area of the crop rectangle.
